Auburn University to present Sounds of Auburn concert Nov. 5

AUBURN – The Auburn University College of Liberal Arts and Department of Music will present the ninth annual Sounds of Auburn concert Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.

Approximately 550 students will perform in ensembles that will include the Auburn University Singers, Marching Band, Gospel Choir, Steel Drum Band, Chamber Choir, Jazz Band and the Symphonic Band.

Auburn alumnus Lee Miller, a New York City resident and an associate producer of the NBC Today Show, will be master of ceremonies. Miller is a 1999 graduate of Auburn University where he sang in the Concert Choir, Vocal Chamber Ensemble and the University Singers.

Although The Sounds of Auburn concert is free, attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item to benefit the East Alabama Food Bank and to support the Beat Bama Hunger Food Drive.
