AUBURN – Auburn University alumni and fans will have their first opportunity of the season to participate in the “All Auburn All Orange” program this Friday.
Established in 2004 to celebrate the unity and spirit of the Auburn family, the “All Auburn All Orange” program encourages fans to purchase and wear an official “All Auburn All Orange” T-shirt to designated events.
The first “All Auburn All Orange” event will be this Friday night’s pep rally at 6 p.m. at Toomer’s Corner. Also, the AU vs. Kansas State football game on Saturday, Sept. 1, has been designated an “All Auburn All Orange” event.
The 2007-08 “All Auburn All Orange” shirt design was selected by the Auburn family during online voting leading up to the spring football game. The T-shirt features a private “All Auburn All Orange” special hangtag that details the program.
Shirts can be purchased from any of the local Auburn merchandise retailers.
This year, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of shirts will support AU’s scholarship program and the Student Government Association’s Big Event initiative. The Big Event is part of a nationwide movement to give back to the people and communities that surround universities through service projects.
Other “All Auburn All Orange” events scheduled this fall include AU volleyball vs. LSU on Sept. 28, AU football vs. Vanderbilt on Oct. 6, AU soccer vs. Georgia on Oct. 25, and AU football vs. Alabama on Nov. 24.
