Discover Auburn lecture series continues with ‘The Christian-Muslim Dialogue’

AUBURN – The 2010 fall semester Discover Auburn lecture series concludes on Nov. 16 at 3 p.m. as Richard Penaskovic, coordinator of religious studies at Auburn University, delivers a lecture titled “The Christian-Muslim Dialogue.”

The lecture will take place in Special Collections and Archives in the Ralph Brown Draughon Library, and will examine areas where Christians and Muslims share common ground, areas where there is mistrust and tension and how a dialogue can be opened to achieve mutual trust, friendship and understanding. The lecture is open to the public and a reception will follow the program.
