Judge Bill English to speak at March 17 meeting of AU’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

AUBURN – Lee County Probate Judge Bill English will be the guest speaker at the general meeting of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Auburn University on Monday, March 17, at 10 a.m. at the Best Western Conference Center, 1577 South College Street. His topic will be “The State of the County.” The public is invited to attend.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at AU, known as OLLI at Auburn, provides opportunities for learning about a variety of subjects such as literature, politics, history, science and the arts.

Classes meet from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays at the Best Western Conference Center and the Jule Collins Smith Art Museum in Auburn and from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Fridays at Southern Union State Community College in Opelika. The spring 2008 water color class will meet Thursday mornings at the Jan Dempsey Arts Center in Auburn.
