AUBURN – The Auburn Alumni Association’s pre-game hospitality tent will be open at a new location for Auburn alumni and football fans. Relocated to the lawn of Auburn’s Wallace Center at 210 South Donahue Dr., the tent will be open Aug. 30 from 3 p.m.-5:30 p.m. CDT. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. for Saturday’s opening game in Jordan-Hare Stadium against the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
The alumni hospitality tent will have food, a band, a big-screen TV, giveaways, children’s face-painting, appearances by Auburn’s mascot, Aubie, and the university marching band.
“We are thrilled with the new tailgate location, which is directly on Donahue Dr. facing the west side of Jordan-Hare Stadium,” said Vice President of Alumni Affairs and association executive director Debbie Shaw. “The site couldn’t be more desirable for our alumni.”
Admission is free for annual and life members of the Auburn Alumni Association and for children aged three and under. Members may bring one non-member guest for a fee of $5. Admission is $10 for non-members ages 13 and over and $5 for children aged four through 12.
