Auburn’s Technical Assistance Center to host Medical management seminar in Decatur

AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Auburn University’s Technical Assistance Center will host a two-day seminar, “Controlling Organizational Costs through Safety and Medical Management,” Sept. 10-11 at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, Ala.

Ernie Richardson, former medical director for Toyota Engineering and Manufacturing’s North American Headquarters, will lead sessions on “Creating a Safety Culture” and “Medical Management.” He was responsible for nine on-site medical clinics and disability management for all of Toyota’s North American facilities. He retired in 2013 after a 25-year career in various positions with Toyota.

The seminar is open to company teams comprised of managers and personnel with human resources, medical program, health and safety and worker’s compensation responsibilities. The cost is $750 per person, with preregistration required. Registration may be completed at www.auburnworks.org or by calling (334) 844-4271 or 1 (800) 446-0386. Multiple enrollments from the same organization or company will receive a $100 discount.
