Auburn University and police offering $10,000 reward for information about campus threats

AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Auburn University and the Auburn Police Division are offering a $10, 000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of those responsible for recent threats of violence. On April 16 and April 22, threatening messages were left at two locations on the Auburn campus that led to disruption of operations and cancellation of classes.

Engaging in threats that disrupt school and cause public alarm is a felony offense. The Police Division, with the assistance of state and federal agencies including the FBI, is actively investigating both cases and intends to utilize all resources to identify those responsible.
