Apple chief operating officer to speak at Auburn University commencement May 14

AUBURN – Auburn University alumnus Tim Cook, chief operating officer for Apple Inc., will deliver the commencement address at Auburn’s spring ceremonies on Friday, May 14.

The university will award approximately 2,967 degrees at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. ceremonies at Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. Cook, a native of Robertsdale and a 1982 industrial engineering graduate of Auburn, will speak at both ceremonies.

Auburn to award 1,197 degrees at summer commencement

AUBURN – Auburn University will award 1,197 academic degrees during its summer commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. Aug. 10 in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.

Of the degrees Auburn will award, 821 are bachelor’s degrees, 282 are master’s degrees, 77 are doctorates, 13 are specialist degrees and four are professional degrees.

Auburn football legend Bo Jackson to speak at graduation

AUBURN – Vincent Edward “Bo” Jackson, Auburn University’s second Heisman Trophy winner and 1995 Auburn graduate, will deliver the commencement address to this year’s Auburn graduates at spring ceremonies May 9.

Auburn will award an estimated 2,823 degrees during two ceremonies in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum. Of those degrees, 2,164 are bachelor’s degrees, 357 are master’s degrees, 222 are professional degrees, five are specialist degrees and 75 are doctorates. A live video stream of the events will be available on the university’s Web site.

Auburn University awards 1,195 degrees at summer commencement

AUBURN – Auburn University awarded approximately 1, 195 academic degrees at its summer commencement ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, in Beard-Eaves-Memorial Coliseum.

Of the degrees Auburn awarded, 840 are bachelor’s degrees, 265 are master’s degrees, 86 are doctorates, two are specialist degrees and two are professional degrees (one each from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the James I. Harrison School of Pharmacy).
