Revolutionary voting technology to be used for Orlando-based election

AUBURN – Prime III, a revolutionary voting system developed at Auburn University, will be used by the National Society of Black Engineers to conduct their national election March 21-22 at the organization’s 34th annual national convention in Orlando, Fla.

Developed by Juan Gilbert, TSYS Distinguished Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering at AU, Prime III is a secure, electronic, user-friendly voting system that integrates touch screen technology with speech recognition and video interfacing to provide all Americans with equal access so they can vote.
