Tickets available for Hospitality Gala with world-renowned chefs, winemakers at Hotel at Auburn University

AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Tickets can still be purchased for the 2013 Hospitality Gala, the annual benefit for the Hotel and Restaurant Management program in the College of Human Sciences at Auburn University, to be held on Thursday, April 11, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.

This year’s event will feature the culinary talents of world-renowned Chefs Kevin Sbraga, Sean O’Toole, Marco Bustamante and Adam Thomas, and wines from Aurelio Montes and Agustin and Valeria Huneeus, all from Chile. For ticketing information, go to www.thehospitalitygala.com.

Auburn University’s Hospitality Gala will have record attendance for 2012

AUBURN – Students in Auburn University’s Hotel and Restaurant Management, or HRMT, Program will host the largest Hospitality Gala to date, with five award-winning chefs and three renowned winemakers coming to The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center on Thursday, April 5.

This year’s tickets sold out in less than 24 hours; however, interested parties can be placed on a waiting list at www.thehospitalitygala.com.

With the 2011 gala raising a record amount – more than $200,000 in a single night – to benefit students in the HRMT program in the Department of Nutrition Dietetics and Hospitality Management in the College of Human Sciences, Dean June Henton and others have high expectations for this year.

Auburn’s 2011 Hospitality Gala to feature award-winning chefs and tribute to West Paces Hotel Group chairman and CEO

AUBURN – The 2011 Hospitality Gala, hosted by the students of Auburn University’s Hotel and Restaurant Management program, will feature the cuisine of three award-winning chefs and wine tastings with renowned winemakers.

The annual event to benefit students in the hotel and restaurant management program begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. The 5:30 p.m. reception will include live cooking demonstrations by the chefs as well as a silent auction. The 7 p.m. dinner will be a chef-guided culinary journey combined with a live auction and an award presentation honoring Horst Schulze, chairman and CEO of the West Paces Hotel Group, for his contribution to the hospitality industry and the hotel and restaurant management program.

Auburn University’s 2010 Hospitality Gala to feature award-winning chefs and guest auctioneer Coach Trooper Taylor

AUBURN – “An International Affair,” the 2010 Hospitality Gala hosted by students in Auburn University’s hotel and restaurant management program, will feature the cuisine of three award-winning and internationally acclaimed chefs, a live auction of travel and leisure items called by Coach Trooper Taylor and the first presentation of The Distinguished Alumni Award.

The gala begins at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, at The Hotel at Auburn and Dixon Conference Center. The 6 p.m. reception will include live cooking demonstrations by the chefs as well as a silent auction. The 7 p.m. dinner will be a chef-guided culinary journey combined with the award presentation and live auction.
