Joy to Life founder to give keynote at Women’s Philanthropy Board 2013 Winter Career Panel and Luncheon

AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Joy Aronov Blondheim, founder of the Joy to Life Foundation, will provide the keynote address at the Women’s Philanthropy Board 2013 Winter Career Panel and Luncheon on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at The Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center.

Joy to Life, a nonprofit foundation based in Montgomery, Ala., seeks to build awareness and provide free mammograms and other breast screenings to medically underserved women in Alabama.

“Joy, and her husband, Dickie, have taken what was a family heartbreak and turned it into something that has had a positive effect on numerous Alabamians,” said Sidney James Nahkjavan, Drummond Thorne Stukes Executive Director for the Cary Center for the Advancement of Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies and Women’s Philanthropy Board. “Their dedication to service, philanthropic goals and the impact they make are very inspirational.”
