Auburn University programs rank high in US News & World Report’s 2013 Best Online Education Programs

AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Online graduate programs in Auburn University’s College of Education, Samuel Ginn College of Engineering and College of Business are listed in the top 10 of the just released U.S. News and World Report’s 2013 Best Online Education Programs rankings.

Auburn’s College of Education ranked second among online graduate education programs, with high scores in student engagement and faculty credentials and training.

Auburn named a top 50 public university for 20th consecutive year in U.S. News survey

AUBURN UNIVERSITY – Auburn University is ranked 37th among public universities nationwide for its undergraduate programs, according to an annual survey released by U.S. News & World Report today. The ranking marks the 20th consecutive year the magazine has ranked Auburn among the nation’s top 50 public universities.

Auburn is ranked 89th in the nation among both public and private schools, while its College of Business undergraduate program ranked 27th among public institutions and 47th overall.

“We are certainly honored to continue to be recognized as a top 30 public business school in the U.S.,” said Bill Hardgrave, dean of the College of Business. “External rankings serve as validation of the reputation we have created among our peers. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to our mission of producing highly desired graduates and generating knowledge that drives business thought and practice. This dedication is reflected in the rankings.”

Auburn graduate programs achieve high U.S. News rankings

AUBURN – Auburn University’s graduate programs achieved high rankings in the newly released U.S. News and World Report “America’s Best Graduate Schools” rankings.

The Harrison School of Pharmacy ranked 25th among public institutions and 26th nationally, while the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering ranked 40th among public universities and 67th nationally. Auburn’s College of Education ranked 59th among public institutions and 77th nationally, and the College of Business ranked 46th among public institutions and 88th nationally.

Auburn University programs named to U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural Top Online Education Program Honor Roll

AUBURN – Online graduate programs in Auburn University’s College of Education and Samuel Ginn College of Engineering were named honor roll programs in U.S. News and World Report’s first-ever Top Online Education Program rankings.

Those named to the honor roll ranked in the top third among their peers in four categories; there were no numeric rankings for overall program quality this year.

Online graduate degree programs were ranked based on student services and technology, faculty credentials and training, teaching practices and student engagement, and admissions selectivity. Programs named to the honor roll placed in the top third of at least three of the four category rankings.

Auburn named a top 50 public university for 19th consecutive year in U.S. News survey

AUBURN – Auburn University is ranked 36th among public universities nationwide, up from 38th last year, according to an annual survey released by U.S. News & World Report today. The ranking marks the 19th consecutive year the magazine has ranked Auburn among the nation’s top 50 public universities.

Auburn also improved its ranking among all universities, coming in 82nd nationally, up from 85th in 2010. Its College of Business undergraduate program ranked 27th among the nation’s public institutions and 46th overall.

“It is certainly an honor to be recognized by our peers as a leading business school and serves as a testament to our outstanding students and faculty,” said Bill Hardgrave, dean of the College of Business and Wells Fargo Professor. “While we are pleased to maintain our position as a top 30 public business school in the U.S., we will continue to look for ways to build and improve upon the undergraduate business program and the educational experience provided to our students.”
