AUBURN – Twenty women leaders from around the Southeast will share their stories at a leadership summit on May 27, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center. Titled “A World of Infinite Possibilities,” the summit is hosted by The Women’s Leadership Institute in the College of Liberal Arts at Auburn University. The summit is open to the public.
A luncheon will feature Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb of the Alabama Supreme Court as keynote speaker. Other speakers will include Alabama State Treasurer Kay Ivey; Alabama Public Service Commissioner Susan Parker; Auburn University Provost Mary Ellen Mazey; Faye Baggiano, founding member of Women Executives in State Government and Women Business Leaders; and Auburn University Board of Trustees members Sarah Newton and Virginia Thompson. The summit will offer panels on women in the areas of business, health care, politics, education and law.
